Engagement path

From plant briefing to shortlist handoff

A clear path for manufacturers working with Platformanalytics on industrial hiring in Germany — paced around production calendars.

Employment consulting for manufacturing vacancies works best when each stage has a named owner on your side — usually a production lead and an HR contact. Below is the path we follow for a Plant Hiring Engagement. Lighter consultations (role profiling alone, or a plant visit assessment) use a shortened version of the same sequence.

  1. Discovery call

We review open roles, past ad response, shift model, and any works-council constraints. You leave with a decision on whether a full engagement, a profiling-only piece, or a plant visit makes sense first.

  2. Role work on the floor

Wherever travel allows, we walk the line with supervisors. Machine names, physical demands, and handover habits enter the written profile. Remote video walkthroughs are a fallback for follow-up plants, not the preferred first contact.

  3. Sourcing window

We reach industrial networks, trade schools, and regional labour pools with the precise brief. You approve outreach language before it goes out. Timeline depends on trade scarcity — we say so early.

  4. Screening & shortlist

Structured conversations test machine familiarity and safety habits. You receive a shortlist with notes on shift flexibility and relocation readiness — not a stack of unsorted CVs.

  5. Offer support & handoff

We help frame offers against local market reality and hand documentation to your supervisors for induction. A two-week check-in catches early friction while adjustment is still easy.

What you prepare

  • Current job descriptions and shift calendars
  • Required certifications and PPE rules
  • Notes on union or works-council consultation status
