Data we collect
When you submit a contact form we process your name, email address, optional plant location, consultation interest, and message content. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and access times for security. If you accept analytics cookies, we process aggregated usage data as described on our cookies page.
Purposes and legal bases
We process enquiry data to respond to consultation requests and, where relevant, to prepare engagement proposals (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps, or Art. 6(1)(f) for legitimate interest in answering business enquiries). Essential cookies support site operation (Art. 6(1)(f)). Analytics cookies run only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Retention
Contact messages are retained up to 24 months after the last correspondence unless a longer period is required for an active engagement or legal obligation. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days. Cookie consent choices remain in your browser until you clear storage.
Recipients and transfers
Hosting and email providers acting as processors may receive data under contracts meeting Art. 28 GDPR. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses as appropriate. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is consent-based, you may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in Sachsen-Anhalt or your place of residence.
Candidate data in engagements
When we source candidates under a client engagement, additional notices and processing agreements apply as set out in the engagement letter. Client plants remain responsible for their own applicant processes under German labour and data-protection rules.
