Refunds, cancellation & rescheduling

Scope

This policy applies to paid employment consulting engagements described on this site (including Plant Hiring Engagements, role profiling, skilled trades sourcing, apprentice pipeline packages, and plant visit assessments). It does not cover goods, software licences, or third-party staffing payroll — services we do not sell.

Eligibility for refunds

Fees already billed for work completed (delivered role profiles, completed plant visits, sourcing weeks already run, shortlists delivered) are not refundable. Prepaid fees for stages not yet started may be refunded in full or in part as set out below.

Timeframe

Cancellation or refund requests should be sent in writing to info@platformanalytics.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation before a scheduled plant visit). Engagement letters may set stage-specific dates that prevail when stricter.

Full and partial refunds

• Full refund of a prepaid plant visit assessment if cancelled at least 5 business days before the visit date
• 50% refund of the prepaid visit fee if cancelled between 5 and 2 business days before the visit
• No refund of the visit fee within 2 business days of the visit, or for no-shows
• For multi-stage Plant Hiring Engagements, unused future stages may be credited or refunded after deducting work already performed and non-recoverable third-party costs

Non-refundable items

Completed deliverables, days already spent on site or in screening, and deposits expressly marked non-refundable in the engagement letter are not refundable. Candidate application materials prepared for your review remain subject to confidentiality and are not “returned as unused goods.”

Deposits

Engagements may require a deposit to reserve calendar time. Deposits are applied to the final invoice. They are refundable only when cancellation meets the timelines above and no billable work has started.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a plant visit once without fee if notice of at least 5 business days is given. Further reschedules or short-notice changes may incur a rescheduling charge up to 30% of the day rate. We may reschedule for illness or travel disruption and will offer a new date promptly.

No-shows and work already started

If key client contacts fail to attend a confirmed on-site session without timely notice, the session may be charged as delivered. Once sourcing or screening has begun, fees for that stage remain due even if you pause hiring internally.

Refund process and method

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to an account you nominate. You will receive written confirmation of the amount and stage affected.
